You can check your NID DAT prelim results by logging in with your login credentials. Make certain that you enter the following details correctly:
Your name will feature on the merit list based on the category to which you belong. The different categories for which the merit list will be published separately will include SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL/Open.

If you want to apply for the revaluation of your answer booklet, you can do so online by visiting the official website of the National Institute of Design (NID). Your request for the re-evaluation of the answers in your submitted booklet will be confined to the following:
The Admission Committee will not consider any other aspect for the re-evaluation of your answer booklet apart from the ones stated above. Also, the Committee does not assign the task of re-checking answers to any other organisation or person after receiving the online request for NID DAT re-evaluation from a candidate. This is because it maintains high confidentiality on the matter.
However, a revision of marks is possible in case of an error in the checking or calculation of marks in the previous instance. Upon revising the marks after NID DAT re-evaluation, the Admission Committee will notify a candidate about it by sending an email at their registered email address.
An online application for NID DAT re-evaluation will be considered only if a candidate enters all the details correctly along with a payment of Rs 2000. You can pay this fee online either through a credit card or debit card. As far as the documents are concerned, you need to submit a scanned copy of your admit card with the seal of the test center. It should also be duly signed by the invigilator.
Following the outbreak of Covid-19 and the ensuing situation, NID Admission Cell has revised the allocated weightage to NID DAT Prelims and Mains to shortlist candidates for B.Des.
According to the revised weightage, NID-DAT Prelims will get 70% of the weightage. On the other hand, NID DAT Mains will have 30% of weightage involving online interaction.
Each candidate who takes the NID DAT Prelims examination is required to obtain minimum qualifying marks to clear it. This is called the cut off of NID-DAT. The National Institute of Design (NID) releases it every year.
